I could eat gluten-free pancakes every day.
A reminder if you need one: it’s great to do sweat-inducing home HIIT workouts every day — but it’s also okay to take a break. It’s awesome if you’re able to create nutrient-dense meals every day, but it’s also okay to eat what you can.
I keep finding myself subconsciously thinking that I’m not doing enough. I’m not working out enough, I’m not eating enough vegetables, I’m not meditating enough.
And I find myself becoming stressed with the idea of who I should be.
If you need this reminder, as I gave to myself this morning, then take it to heart. We are living through an international pandemic.
The world and our society is pretty upside down right now. We aren’t in quarantine to get jacked or to lose weight. We are in quarantine to stay healthy. Yes, eat your veggies, yes, move your body, but take away the necessary pressure that social media often facilitates, and do what makes you feel good and what fuels you.
Some days that might look like a nutrient-dense smoothie and a HIIT workout, other days it might look like a slow walk and a stack of pancakes.
Don’t be hard on yourself and let yourself live.

Some more reminders today:👇✨
- it’s okay to take a break – imperfections are normal – you are allowed to start over
- you should say no
- rest is good
- it might be new and scary, but that’s because you’re growing
- growth takes time
- sometimes it’s important to do the hard thing ⠀
- we can also choose to do the easy thing⠀⠀⠀⠀
- it’s ok to be misunderstood
