Healthy Hot-Chocolate
This healthy hot chocolate is one of my favorite recipes for the cold winter months.
It’s creamy, chocolate-y, and doesn’t have all the added sugars that a hot chocolate from Starbucks or Dunkins has.
This hot chocolate is such a hit with my friends and family, that they actually request it at this point.
Healthy Hot Chocolate
same old yummy taste without all the added sugars
Ingredients
- 1 cup coffee
- 1/3 cup nut milk
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 scoop collagen peptides
- marshmallows from snackapade
Instructions
-
Add all the ingredients, minus the marshmallows, to a blender.
-
Blend on medium for a few seconds then pour into your favorite mug.
-
Top with marshmallows and enjoy!
As you see, I used marshmallows in this recipe. If you’re thinking, aren’t those packed with fake sugar, you’re right, they usually are!
I recently discovered the brand Snackapade which produces marshmallows that are healthier than the traditional grocery store marshmallow. They also sell rice crispy treats that are unreal.
As always, let me know if you try out this healthy hot chocolate! It’s bound to be a crowd-pleaser. Tag me on Instagram or Pinterest if you do make it 🙂

P.S. If you’re a chocolate lover, make sure to try out my new peanut butter chocolate balls. They’re the perfect mid-afternoon snack.
